have stayed a few more nights to go to the bue festival to see the beastie boys, daft punk and the yeah yeah yeahs among others. it was beatie boys and patti smith last night. the presence of patti smith prompted the arrival of many hippies with long beards and a general feeling of peace and love that permeated the air for a long while after (i am referring of course to the copious amounts of stinking dope that everyone seemed to be smoking). patti smith was annnoyingly hippyish and kept banging on about corporations and governements which i thought was pointless as im sure i was the only one who understood what the old wench was banging on about..... and we dont exactly share points of view!

beastie boys were brilliant and everyone went absolutely crazy (¡loco!) as it was the first time they´d played s america in 10 years. tonight is daft punk and the yeah yeah yeahs which should be good
