Helloo!!

Lot's has happened since we last wrote. We got our train as planned to Chumphon, didn't realise we had bought tickets for 3rd class though so spent the 4 hour train journey on a broken seat surrounded by the locals and a crying baby. Was an expereince but one we won't be doing again!!

When we arrived in Chumphon we were supposed to be getting on a night boat but when we realised that it was an open top fishing boat we thought it might not be such a good idea. So we spent the night in Chumphon before getting on a nice safe boat to a little island called Ko Tao which we both loved! Didn't do much here except sunbathe during the day and hang out in a place called Lotus bar during the evening where we improved our pool playing techniques while watching the amazing fire dancers.

We spent 5 nights in Ko Tao before heading to another island called Ko Phangan, the party island. Unfourtunately the day we got the boat over the weather decided to change and we had about 5 days of grey and rain! Still managed to have fun though by chilling in the bars watching films during the day and heading out to the bar and clubs on the beach at night where we had a few crazy nights drinking cocktail buckets, including the Full Moon Party which was on the 12th Nov. Luckily the rain had stopped by then and there were thousands of people dancing on the beach, most of them, including us, covered in UV paint.

We're now on an island called Ko Samui where we arrived yesaterday. Spent today on the beach as it is finally sunny again and we had pretty much lost all the tan we got on Ko Tao. We've got a fun day planned for tomorrow where we get to go sea kayaking, snorkling, trek through the jungle, feed baby elephants and ride quad bikes. We've been lazing around for so long we thought it was time we used a bit of energy!!
