Hello!!

We're in Laos at the moment as our Thai Visa was up so we had to leave the country for a few days. We really like it in Laos, its very chilled out and really cheap. We're in a place called Vang Vieng at the moment which is famous for tubing, where you get in a big rubber ring and float down a river stopping at makeshift bars a long the way. There's loads of rope swings and zip wires too. Me and Jen went tubing yesterday, we both tried the first rope swing and after I belly flopped decided not to do anymore!!!

Before Laos we were on a small Island called Ko Phi Phi which is where the film The Beach was filmed. It was one of the places that got hit worst by the Tsunami but you could never tell now, although there was a lot of builidng going on. Again the weather wasn't great but we still had lots of fun. We went snorkling which was just amazing, really clear water, hundreds of fish and starfish and we even saw squids!! We also went Kayaking, which we've taken up as a new hobby, to a place called Monkey beach where all the monkeys run wild! The night life was really fun here too, we had some funny nights out.
