Well, the big day is finally here! After a long day of shopping, packing, double checking, etc, we are finally on our way. It is hard to believe that we're finally leaving, since we've been talking about this trip since November.

We're currently enjoying the palace that is YVR's international departures terminal...it's unbelievable what they've done to it since we were last here. Matt and I are chilling with our ice teas beside the indoor water feature...who needs Italy?

For those of you that are wondering, Matt has officially won the 4 month long debate over whether to bring the laptop. I'm content with this, because I won the other arguments...like whether he would buy and wear shorts on the trip, and whether he would then wear sandals with those shorts. Aaah, marriage.

Well, that's it for now. We've got a long 10 hour flight ahead of us. I'm debating whether now is the right time to spike Matt's ice tea with a few Gravols! We'll arrive in London at 8am. Not sure if we'll have internet at our hotel, but we'll try to update our 'blog' as soon as we can.
