Another early start! Just used to waking up at 5 am!
I went and washed my clothes before anyone else could hog the machines! The drier didn't dry my clothes fully so turned the bottom bunk into a Chinese laundry for the day!
I made my self breakfast (crumpets and vegimite) had a nice chilled morning reading my book and chatting with friends on Facebook.
I decide to go out and confirm my airport pick up. I found the shop but the shop no longer exists! Panic set in! I tried finding the website and call the number. It doesn't ring. There was a difference address on the website than my confirmation. So I decide to head down to there it was a hour walk but it took in some sights on the way. I found the office and confirmed my pick up. Phew it was all ok.

I head back down towards Alice springs and head to Anzac hill (a war memorial overlooking Alice) I spent at least half an hour up there enjoying the views and taking in all the information given.

From the top of the hill I spied Todd tavern which I had learnt about in my researching I head there and try a pint of "wild yak" lager. I chill for a while as had long walk in the morning and decide to head back to the hostel for my lunch.

After lunch I go to the residency where the queen stayed when she visited, a gaol and the royal flying doctors museum which was amazing.

I brought a bottle of Sauvignon on my way back to enjoy this evening.
