So, here we are in Coober Pedy!

Initially disappointed that we are unable to continue on the outback tracks of South Australia, however, we have to adjust and look for 'plan B', so we will continue south on the bitumen to Port Augusta and then see what develops with the weather and road conditions.

In the meantime, we have had a look around this dusty, underground town of dirt piles and mechanical rubble and attended an underground AOG church this morning, which was really nice. Amazing how they build the houses under the ground and make them so cosy. Apparently you can buy an underground home for around $150.000 and above ground for $100,000. Time to re-locate!

The weather here has also been strange - nice when we arrived, and then this morning we woke to a thick fog and dew! The residents have said that they have hardly ever seen fog or dew in the many years they have lived here! Strange happenings!!
