Well im getting used to this thai food! Well trying to. Just had the hottest curry/salad type thing ever! Just had to run into the shop n down some water cos my mouths on fire!

Were now in Koh Tao having been to Ko Samui for a couple of days first. Ko Samui was very nice but think i prefered Ko Phi Phi. Ko Samui's got some gorgeous hotels n resturants but alot more commecialised and alot bigger. The beach where we were staying at was lovely and had some cool little bars n resturants along it where you could just sit there for hours watching the sunset over the sea. Had a good night out there too, walked for miles though and ended up in the red light district bit! (trust us!) full of lady boy bars but managed to find an english one among them where the owner made us a few too many bucket cocktails! Ended up dancing on the bar n the lot! We were meant to leave the next day to ko tao where i am now but i was in no fit state to catch any boat!

Its lovely where we are now, Koh Tao's a tiny little island just up from Ko Phangan. We've hired a couple of bikes to have a look around the island but it only takes about 20 mins to get from one side to the other (mind you, the road stops so you cant get much further) Also been Snorking today in Sharks Bay. Went really far out and at on point there was about 7 or 8 sharks around me. Dont worry though mum they were reef sharks n are totally harmless! I did s*** myself at one point though n thought, i hope these are reef sharks and nothing else cos a few of them were massive! Got bit by a little purple fish aswel, the little s***!

Handed our bikes back now so just going to spend the rest of the day lounging on the beach n cooling off in the turquoise sea (mind you the sea's like a bath so you dont feel any cooler once your in it!) The last few nights been in bed for 11ish and last night was all tucked up for 9! Think its all the hot weather hot wears you out. Might go for a few tonight though.

ps, forgot to tell you about our little trip to the local police station cos shelle lost her purse.... so funny, walked in to police station (it was like someones living room, even had 2 dogs in there), anyways this copper comes walking out in his boxers, half asleep n says he wont be long cos he's off to get a shower first! Then 5 mins later comes back out dressed in jogging bottoms n a t.shirt smoking a fag! Claire, you need to get re located out here, you'd love it!
