Never ever coming home! Ko phi phi is just the most fantastic place on earth.... I LOVE IT! Was only meant to stop a day as on a tight time table till shell and Katie fly home but ended up stopping there 5 days instead. The island is only small and has no cars or mopeds and can get everywhere on foot, boat or push bike. The first day we arrived we met 3 lads from 'darn sarf' and ended up stopping at the same place (paradise inn) Had a crazy night out with them the first night where we went to watch a bit of thai boxing too. At the end of the night, in my drunken state ended up eating a chickens foot...... DISCUSTING!!! Also met a few weirdo's walking home, one being a really strange local guy (harmless tho) n the other been a missfit from Nasereth.....yes Nasereth!!! Dont know what it is with me n shell but we always seem to get talking to the most bizare people! Anyways we sacked them off n made our way home sometime in the early hours! The next day we took a boat trip to the miya bay where the beach was filmed and was gobsmacked how beautiful that place was. We just couldnt believe we were there. Wanted to go for years. The following day we went off again n went on a boat that took us to lots of different little islands, all like what you see on post cards. There were 2 guys from Isreal on board though that did our heads in abit. They spoke like Borat n wanted us to be there 'new wives!'
We also walked up about a trillion steps this day to the look out point where you can both sides of ko phi phi. Was lovely as we went up for the sunset and could see for miles. After walking miles back down we went n sat with the owners of the place we were staying at n had a few beers. A few too many beers aswel, as we got all ready to go out n was still sat with them at 3am n didnt even make it out! We were too wrecked! And would you believe one of the locals there has been to Cas Vegas! How mads that! He was mates with an older guy from Cas that we met on the first day.
Were now in Ko samui, had a long day catching buses n boats to get here but finally made it. Not seen much of it yet but its alot bigger n busier than ko phi phi but will be in touch soon when ive done some more exploring!
