2/4/09: We got up and got ready and checked out then got a lift to the bus station- the bus left about 10.30. We watched You, Me and Dupree on the bus then watched Dude wheres my car? The journey took about 5 hours. Arrived in Noosa about 4. Got a public bus to where the hostel is. It was raining really heavy from when we left Hervey Bay and a lot of the roads near Noosa were really flooded and lots of cars couldnt get through. It is still pretty miserable. We then checked in- we have our own room in a nice quiet, clean, modern hostel. I had a shower then we went for a mooch along waterfront- we found the supermarket and then the internet!! We walked back along the river to the hostel and chilled in the room reading then had an early night- we've got in a pattern of getting up about 6 and going to bed about 10!? So much for all night partying- we r like two old farts!
3/4/09: Well we woke up (at about 6 again) to it chucking it down and it pretty much continued til about 4. We walked to another part of Noosa with lots of shops and resturants and the beach. We got breakfast/lunch then looked in some shops before walking to another part of Noosa and going to the cinema cos the weather was so poor. We watched 'Knowing' with Nicholas Cage- a bit stupid- I wouldnt really recommend it. Then the weather had cleared up so we went to the beach where there was loads of surfers- some of them were amazing- it was just like I imagined Australian beaches. We then walked all the way back- we r knackered now! Moving on to Brisbane in the morning.
