I went shopping today! I had a severe need for a pair of shorts which don't have netting for swimming in. There were lots of shops with offers etc but it was in a fun shop called live I found a super comfy pair for A$10. Which is worth £6 but is the equivalent of spending £3 in England (do you see where the currency changes become a conundrum?)

It was on the way out of town at closing time thatI found an outlet store to look for a replacement pair if chinos in. I really miss the old red/pink ones I ditched in Cambodia :( but the only place still open had particularly large and hideous ones on sale. Perth is quite a nice city actually. It has a bit of flavour to it and various sculptures etc that catch your eye. There are nice old well kept buildings that contrast nicely with the huge shiny angular new ones. The views from the harbour are magnificent too.

Last night we went out for dinner at an Indian vegetarian restaurant where you pay what you want for your meal. I paid by English standards as opposed to either expensive Aussie dollars or cheap SE Asian ones.
