I don't know if you can tell on that photo but it is an incredibly clear day today and over the farthest boat to the right I can see the skyline of Perth City.
I have just cycled around Rottnest island as recommended by community of travel agents know colloquially as friends and family. I was joined by the charming company of Lieke from holland who I met through Gumtree; a community sharing website also used for finding homes for old possessions which would otherwise hit the bin. Through this site I have also been searching for road trip buddies across to Perth where I will be reunited with Ryan the skier who I met on New Year's Eve.
Anyway I got distracted. Before the nitty gritty I will discourage you from spending money to see Hanzel and Gretel which me and Marten went to see last night, the trailer was better than the film. The australian cinema was more luxurious than Vue but essentially the same. Either way we had special offer tickets from Allan with free salty popcorn) But I will encourage you, possibly again, to see The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
I met up with Lieke yesterday afternoon at Kings Park in Perth where we chatted and explored the gardens. There is a nice memorial to fallen soldiers at the top and I waited there as neither of us were sure how long it would take to get there. (When I did get there I could see Allan's block of flats easily!) We get on very well and I will fill you in on today once we have moved towards the ferry as we set off back to Fremantle!
Fact: The word dreaming comes from he aboriginal words for nigh time creation. Or vice versa, I have slept since.
