This morning we woke reasonably early and after breakfast we caught the Hop on Hop off bus to Nemo building and spent a couple of hours there. It is a bit like Science Works but is enormous and has some very interesting displays including an outdoor roof display. We headed back to near our hotel about 1 pm and shared some Dutch pancake and coffee. We collected our bags from the hotel and caught a cab to the boat about 2 pm. The boat is lovely - brand new and our room is lovely with a French window floor to ceiling. We unpacked our suitcases and settled in to our room -, rang Inala and face timed Sheryl and Dave who were in Queensland at Dave and Meg's. found our way around the boat and had a nibble at the terrace bar. At 5.30 there was cocktails so we had a strawberry daiquiri and a Brandy Alexander. We had a bit of a rundown a out the cruise with the crew and then at 7 pm we went to the dining room for dinner. Because we have paid for the Silver Package we can drink whatever we like when we like, so cocktails and wine are all on the house from here on in. Dinner was lovely - I had a cheese soufflé, fish, and panna cotta. Gerry had beef consommé, steak and same dessert. All serves we're quite small thank goodness. The boat is very well decorated in modern clean furnishings and it looks brand new. After dinner there was dancing and music by a very good pianist. Gerry went to bed but I want to see the boat leave dock at 11.30 pm. We had Americans - John and Patricia, and Judy and John at our table and they were good company. 10 pm and still a little bit of sun yet to go down. The photo today is a water clock taken at the Nemo building - very interesting.
