We got up early yesterday as we had a morning tour of country Holland at a small place called Kinderdijt. There were lots of windmills there and a local volunteer took our group to a windmill where we could climb up inside and have a really good look. It was built in early 1700's all of wood with a nice thatched roof. We got back on board at 11.15 and left there at 11.30 and headed towards Germany. We will be sailing now until we get to Cologne tomorrow morning. We had lunch in the dining room with John and Judy Walker a lovely American couple we have met.
In the afternoon I had a short nap as I didn't sleep too well the night before as the Doona was a bit warm. Then there were Dutch treats in the lounge -a large array of cakes - so after one of those, I decided to go for a walk up on the sun deck circuit for half an hour.
There was a talk in the lounge that Gerry went to. We had drinks then went to dinner with John and Judy , also Rein and Carol from USA New Jersey.
