Day 6 Masai Mara
Today was a day of game drives. Absolutely stunning morning. A little fun in having the truck get stuck in the mud with vultures circling us. A good hour to get out, not the worst view in the world.
Saw hyenas, vultures on a kill and the cutest baby elephant with her mother. Poor thing could hardly walk and was thought to be only a few days old. We also managed to spot a couple of female lions.
Was amazed to see the width of the tracks from the migration. About the width of a football field with the migration been known to possibly contain up to 3 million.
You can also see the storms and rain on the plains coming towards you. It's quite incredible.
Carcasses everywhere as well...the lions may have got some good feeds off the migration which has just passed.
