Day 12 - Another early cooked breakfast. We really are getting good at 5:00 o'clock starts. Given there's no lighting or electricity, you also end up going to bed virtually when the sun goes down and the fires are burning out. Day 10 - Serengeti to Ngorongora Crater Early morning drive - saw three lions as soon as we got in the land cruiser as well as a herd of elephand walking past our camp. With the early morning mist, it felt like being inside a painting. 100 metres down the road and we came upon the kill site with the lion pride on their kill. Talk about 'whilst you were sleeping'. Day 9 - Arusha to Serengeti Was picked up at 8 by the Bee Eater & Honey Safari company. Long day of driving although it is great not being on the truck.
