This town has been described as the Switzerland of Scotland. I can just see the fur trees with snow on them. It would be a pretty sight.

This was the steam train & station used in "The Monarch of the Glenn". It only went for about an hour to Boat of Garten & onto Drumuillie. The stations & countryside were fantastic. We found a B&B not far from town but not for the 1st time I'd wished I'd packed a heater as the host didnt turn the heat on till we complained, some are stingy with the heating. We are going where the wind blows us & yesterday it was blowing us right out of Inverness. Luckily we woke up & although freezing cold it was blue sky & lovely. The Harry Potter Train, this photo is of coarse the 1st class seats that we didn't get to sit in but we were pleased to be able to get tickets just to travel on it. They have been packed out all summer & they were turning people away today, but we got there early to buy them off the guard as they with hold about 40 for visitors.
