We have arrived in Sydney, Australia :). We arrived quite late on and our hostel really stinks! But, we all managed to sleep no problem! This was until the fire alarm want off at 2am and we all had to get outside! Really took me back to my first year of uni! So we got up and then remembered we're on the 12th floor of the building and we can't use the lifts! When we finally made it out with everyone else, there was a couple of fire engines outside and they put an announcement out that we could re-enter the building!! It turns out someone was messing about with a fire extinguisher on the floor below us and set off the alarms.

Once back in our room, avoiding the piles of vomit on the corridor, we had a bad time trying to kill some beetles that had invaded the room! Quite an exciting start to Christmas day!

So, we are off to Bondi beach this afternoon and the sun is shining! I think it couldn't feel less like Christmas for all of us, even though we have our Christmas cards and decorations up! Thanks for the necklace and geeky card dad! Was nice to have something to open still!!
