We are back in the northern hemisphere and are halfway way home! We had a slightly turbulent 10 hour flight from Auckland, but on the whole it was uneventful and we landed safely and are now preparing for the next 13 hour flight to England! See you very very soon! Amy. x

This morning we decided to go for a little look around Bangkok. As Jade didn't get much sleep on the overnight train, she decided to have a nap at the hostel. As she has been to Bangkok before, Sally, Ruth and me decided to go and see the Grand Palace as Jade didn't want to go here again. We have just arrived in Bangkok, and this is our last stop for south-east Asia before we fly to Australia on Saturday. From the service station in Thailand, we waited a little longer until we got on another bus, to the Thai/Laos border. Here, we got off and had our passports checked. Then we got back on the bus, drove for ten minutes, then got off again to pay for our visas. We waited here a while then got on another packed out bus and drove for a short while.
