Koh samui

We arrived after a short boat journey and went to our seperate hotels. Could tell straight away that kc resort was going to be special when they asked us to wait for the golf buggy to take us up the hill. Checked into to some pretty special rooms with a jacuzzi/hot tub on the balcony over looking the sea and beaches of chaewang.
Straight down to the infinity pool to make the most of the last of the days sun. That evening we went for a meal all together on the beach.
Turns out Alex Cooksey had been defeated by alcohol..at last!
We carried on to a couple of beach bars on the quieter side of the island.
Next morning was a day in the sun at the pool. Myself Smallman and Vicky went over to Ambas hotel..they had their own private pool so we had an afternoon pool party.
Everyone's last night we started off in ark bar which is always fun and made our way to dream girls.
Now..this is the type of place you would only find in Thailand. It was a little similar to playing a human version of hungry hippos. It's essentially a strip club where the girls are in the middle (still not sure if they we're men) and you get baskets of ping pong balls which are worth 20 bhat each. When you throw one they all fight over them...very I humane but also very amuZing.
After there we hit a few bars and clubs before mcdonalds. Me and Smallman went into some sort of cheese burger coma an needed a rest on the way back to the hotel.
The last and final day everyone congregated in our room and divulged in some panic tanning.
Me and Vick went for an hour long full body massage for £7. Was extremely relaxing!
Everyone left and it was very sad. Smallman Cried. Alex cried. But it's only 9 weeks until we're all reunited again! A trip to London has been planned already.
This morning Amba and James left too went for a quick afternoon drink on the beach an said our goodbyes. No one wanted to go.
And then there was 2 again.
Checked out of our hotel and they presented us a rather large bill for breakfast in the morning...mart flipped as we'd had breakfast every day and hadn't paid for it. Turns out it was room only we'd booked for the extra night..after lots of arguing and mart guilt tripping them saying we wouldn't be able to eat for the next 2 days they offered 25% discount. Mart still wasn't happy so we got 50% off.
Booked a much much cheaper hotel as it was so hot we got in a taxi and it took us a metre down the road. Oops. Lotus hotel- basic but it'll do! Dropped our laundry off for £4. And spent the whole day shopping around the markets. We explored many many tattoo shops until I found one that wouldn't give me aids and had wanderlust tattood on my arm in thai. Looks cool!
Also finally sourced some malaria tablets from boots would you believe it.
We spent the evening in (found the football mart was happy) and planned planned and planned. Buses to Cambodia sounded very stressful and dodgey so although a lot more expensive we've decided upon a 12 hour boat to Bangkok a night there and them a flight into Cambodia. No worries about dodgey visas then! Found some beautiful hotels for £10-15 a night!
