This week has just been wonderful!!

We have drank a lot and explored a lot.

we decided on a day when the weather was awful that it would be a good idea to hike the vertical mountain here..because we are clever like that..so off we trotted..it was harder than it looked my legs still hurt! it was raining and then half way through that turned to snow...i had my hiking boots on and mart had slippy pumps..we stopped at the top for some drinks and mart wanted to get the gondola back down because of his shoes but i reminded him if we had to eat peanut butter sandwhiches because of money then he would join me in walking back down the mountain and save $30...i found him a stick and it helped.

we so far had eaten 3 furg burgers...that shop must make some money!! they are however ridiculously epic...about the size of your head.
one day me scott james and mart brought a crate and just sat on the small beach by the lake ploughing through them looking at the ridiculous view that was infront of us...was a hell of a morning. that night i decided to treat mart as we havent spent much time alone of late..

got him tickets for dinner up the top of the mountain...it included the tickets for the gondola so he didnt have to walk...wow.
there was a wedding going on at the time and we both agreed if there would of been a minister we would of just got married there. its hard sometimes to keep being amazed because everything we see on a daily basis is outstanding but that view was breathtaking. mart got a little emotional. id timed it just right so the sun was just setting as we were eating, felt like we were on top of the world up in the clouds just looking at the mountains....and the food!!! i ended up having 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 puddings a plate of cheese and 2 cups of tea.... i was so full i was in a lot of pain!! the gondola back down was just as good because it had gone dark and everything was lit up. brilliant evening.

next day it was time for milford sounds....bit of a long bus journey to get there but worth it...saw penguins which was fun and seals and lots of waterfalls and mirrored lakes! we mostly enjoyed the pack lunch they gave you with free cookies. that night was slightly messy as it was most peoples last night so we gave them a hell of a send off...i shall miss the dream girls (long story) hopefully cross paths with a few in australia though. got funnier....scott had to get an ambulance because he had trapped wind...i did tell him i thought it was that but he was convinced he was having a heart attack. that night me and mart brought ''the big Al'' furg burger...2 eggs and a whole lb of meat...bigger than my head and i finished it like a pro...practically had a wash in it tho haha!

today i woke early an had an almighty skype morning - 6 in total! spending today just chilling as everyones left then will head out later to watch the all blacks game...then its an early start tomorrow for snowboarding...lessons first thing ha!
