Well, everything we own is back in the Subbie and I'm back in Kentucky waiting for Nathan to get back from a trail crew project with LNT. Deciding to leave High Rocks was tough, but in these tight times, I felt it was the best thing to do with the Holiday season quickly approaching, I need to snag something before retail has gone dry again. Packing was an adventure, I'm pretty sure I found one of Nathan's belts that he "lost for good!" a /year/ ago. The acorns at Mondamin were coming down like strategically scary bullets hitting the roof of the cabin and car - luckily, I dodged them all or they were kind enough not to pelt me.

The last thing I had to pack was my laptop playing Pandora in the attic (better internet up there). Of course, I conked my head one last time on the storage shelf above the ladder, and that was my farewell to Lake Summit and the Mountaineering Cabin.
