Your bus is sweet! I've been telling Brian I want one we can take with us when we camp and ski. I can't wait to visit and see it and you of course!

Safe traveling tomorrow back to The States. Anxious to see you both and hear your stories in person.

Wow....I'm just amazed by your stories and your strong stamina!

Whoa!!! Crevasses. Searing pain. Ribbon-width paths. Avalanches. Precarious footing. This must be a test of your entire being -- physical and emotional. I've only had a fraction of that pain carrying a backpack, and I can't imagine the level of pain you were experiencing. I also can't imagine what your next obstacle/fright/joy will be. We old folks are there with you in spirit, literally wishing you well every brave step of the way up that mountain. Love and gentle hugs!!!

I'm on the edge of my seat enjoying your recounting of what seems to be an unbelievable physical and psychological challenge. I guess you are truly connecting with nature, something we do here so randomly and so ineptly. You go girl! I'm living vicariously through you!

I love these stories! Maybe NOLS might be interested in publishing your saga? I hope Rishikesh is allowing you to rest up after that ordeal.
Keep em coming!
Jody
Thanks for the great post. I can feel how tired and crumpled you are on that plane and bus, the intoxication and confusion of a foreign place, the time zone assault. It's all part of the journey, especially sitting on one's butt for excruciatingly long periods of time. Let it all in and enjoy the planet way up high. Lots of love to you both.

Have an awesome time! You'll both be in my prayers for safe travels. Can't wait to see the photos and hear of your adventure.
Love you to!

May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. And rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
Love to you both

How exciting--one week from today and you guys are off! Good to see you both this weekend--you can sure bake a pretty mean peach pie!

Nice to see my sister climbing the hills of Utah! Your goal is so close now I am sure you are getting anxious. It certainly went fast. Paris is wonderful, the Brassaries are fantastic - speak a little french and the locals are actually nice contrary to the stereotype they have received. The aunties and Nana head to Scotland in a few weeks! We are all very excited for Shires, Lochs (lakes), Bens (mountains), Glens (valleys), Castles, Haggis and Whiskey! Well maybe not the Haggis....and we hope to bag a few Bens! (not the human kind) Take care and good luck!
