Today started by waking up in a hammock in the middle of the Amazon rainforest listening a black monkey (howling monkey) bellowing as loud as he could to mark his territory. Today started off with another one of the most beautiful sights we have ever seen in our lives. Watching the sunrise while being sat in middle on the Amazon river was perfect especially with the river reflecting the light back up off the water made it an unbelievably surreal experience. After leaving ridiculously early, which seems to be turning into a habit, we set off for the jungle. After meeting the others in our group, 3 Italian guys and 3 Spanish women we got into a taxi to the docks and then jumped on a boat.
