Took a "wait to fill up" mini bus again from from La Paz to Copacabana, took around 4 hours and was interesting how full they load the minibus. We crossed lake titikaka by a rather dodgy barge, the driver wanted us to take a private boat as he kept on saying "peligroso" meaning dangerous. Once arrived we booked into Hostel Sonia which had a great view of the lake in the morning. We got a 2 hour ferry over to Isla del Sol's north beach and stayed in an awesome place called the mirador (viewpoint) which had views of both sides of the lake. After a snooze we had "lunch" which took about an hour to arrive, but was the best trout I have had. We had sundowners on the beach with incredible views of the island and sun set. We walked from the North side to the south side, passed ruins and phenomenal views of the lake. Got our ferry back to Copabanna just in time for happy hour sundowners and another spectacular sun set.
