Hi all!
First week in Melbourne behind me. I arrived Melbourne late last Sunday evening and came straight to this apartment that I'm living in now. I share the room with the german girl I met already in Sydney. She's really nice! :) The house has four other rentrooms. We have big kitchen, big living room and a pool table :) The other roommates are also really nice even if I don't see them so often because they are either working or studying. I really like it here, only minus is the location. The house is more than one hour walking from city centre, but atleast you can find cloth stores, supermarkets and everything else necessary within 20 min walking :) We also have one bike we can share with the german girl so it's not so bad all the time :)
On Monday me and Vanessa (the german girl) went to see the Great Ocean Road with our other brasilian roommate and his brother that was visiting here. The trip was amazing! It included a lot of sitting in the car (that we rented) but after the first hour the views were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I just stared from the car window for few hours because it was so beautiful!!! If anybody ever comes to Australia that is one of the things you should really see :) So we travelled the Monday day to the Twelve Apostolies that are these famous big rocks that rise up from the ocean on the south coast. Then we slept the night nere the beach, two sleeping in the car and two sleeping in the tent that came over the car (the tent was really funny looking :D). Then on Tuesday morning we headed back. It wasn't a long trip and I'm sure you could use few days on the road, but it was enough for us :) Absolutely a trip worth making :)
I gave Wednesday for myself as a holiday-day so I didn't really do anything that day :) From thursday to this day I have been trying to find a job firstly here in Melbourne but have also looked from other parts of AUS. Haven't yet found anything secure, but have a few interviews for next week. I'm pretty positive that I'm already working at the end of next week :) What kind of job it will be... don't know yet - that seems to be my motto here in AUS :D
Until next time! Cheers! <3
