I've just come off a very relaxing week in Predannack/Mullion in Cornwall. I was spoiled to death. I stayed with my grandmother's friends, who cooked for me every day, carted me around, let me do laundry, gave me my own room, and even let me use their internet. I was shocked that they even had internet. It was an ancient computer, so I couldn't do much, and the keyboard barely worked...especially the spacebar. I couldn't get up the nerve to blog with that spaceba...

Last night I shared a room with eight rowdy, obnoxious men who kept calling me Avril. Talk about weird. I only got about 5 hours of sleep... I'm surprised I got any at all. Back in London. Amanda just left me. :( It'll be weird to travel around by myself for the next 10 days. But it will be nice to do a bit of relaxing instead of running running running around. I'm taking an eight hour bus ride in half an hour up to Keswick. My Europe on a Shoestring book says it's the most beautiful part of England. What went so wrong with the Canadian version? ;) We stayed at a very weird hostel in London last night called the Hootananny Hostel....

Made it to London (5am--1am in my head). I'm having a real Amazing Race experience trying to find a cheap and quick way to get to Amsterdam today. There is no cheap way--why must I always leave things to the last minute? I think we'll fly. At least that's quick. Amanda arrives in 3 hours! Yay!
