The Blue Ridge Parkway rolls through the Blue Mts for 469 beautiful miles from Shenandoah N.P. to Great Smokey Mts N.P. Took in some great views, camped with fire flies all around and drove ALOT. Well worth the time if you ever find yourself in this part of the world.

Shenandoah National Park is gorgeous! We went on an overnight 18 mile hike backcountry which was great until it decided to unleash thunderstorm fury on us. We mistook the first thunder claps for airplanes, and before we knew it we were scrambling to set the tent up in the pissing down rain. So much fun, especially when paired with Poison Ivy patches everywhere and the constant threat of Lyme Disease laden deer ticks finding a nice warm nook on our bodies. No real...
