So Blog Readers, a treat for you here is another blog, this time detailing our time in Mui Ne.
We left at 7am in the morning to get too Mui Ne from Da Lat. It was a similar journey to the one from Nha Trang to Da Lat. Windy and bumpy roads, and being hungover again didn't help. We got there 5 hours later, and after sorting some accomodation, and having food (Earl tried Frogs for the first time) we headed straight to the beach for a nice relaxing afternoon. That night we went for tea, Earl had turtle soup and I had grilled fresh Tuna which looked like a mouldy ... I'll let you fill in the gaps as I do not want to lower the tone of my blogs and my parents might be reading :) Although it looked bad it tasted pretty good. After that we went in search for a decent bar, after walking for miles we found nothing with any life, so decided to go in the casino, I lost on black jack, just a few pounds, and Earl lost a million on red on the roulette table. It is a good job that a million dong is not a lot compared to the British pound. We headed back up the strip and eventually found a couple of places to go, Joe's Music Bar and DJ Station, where I watched Wigan deservedly beat Man Utd to make the title race a bit more interesting. But as an Irish guy said to me that's why we love United because we always do it the hard way.
The next day after a lie in, we went on a tour which took us too a fairy stream, a fishing village and white and red sandunes. At the white sandunes we opted to ride an ostrich which was pretty good fun, and something not many people can say they've done. I also wanted to rent a quad bike but these were just too much money for the little time you got, so I was left dissapointed with that one. We met a Swedish called Madelane on the tour who invited us out for tea and drinks with her friends that night. So we did this after a quick game of crazy golf and met a swedish guy called Martin, swedish girl called Hannah and a German girl called Sarah. Whilst at Joe's I met the Danish girls who went canyoning with me, at first they didn't recognise me or so they said, I think they just didn't want to be associated with the wimpy kid from canyoning :) they had mounted biked there way from Da Lat to Mui Ne which was pretty impressive. We had a few drinks at Joe's and then we had to leave as we had a 1am bus to catch to Saigon.
And that's your blogs for today folks, hope you are enjoying them. Speak soon and take care.
Adi
