Last day in Kyoto today just about to head to the train station to catch the Shinkansen(bullet train) to Hiroshima. Yesterday we visited a costume museum and the textile centre. Sun 14th Sep Up early and headed for Hakone. Our first experience of the Shinkansen or Bullet Train. Its fast oh yes its fast. After that train we took the bus to our Ryokan which is a traditional Japanese Inn with tamarin mats and futons to sleep on. We dumped our bags as we were too early for check in. Spent 4 days in Tokyo. Arrived Wednesday morning after a 10 hour flight. Claire got a bit too excited by the amount of films she could watch that she forgot to sleep on the plane.
