Hola from Bariloche in Argentina we arrived here yesterday but first an update on the last week. Last Saturday we were in Auckland and had a chance to meet up with Rachel a girl we went to uni with, had nice catch up and gossip over lovely crepes. We are back in Auckland and leave here this afternoon for our flight to Santiago in Chile but first an update on the last 2 weeks. Spent a few days in Napier where we did an Art Deco tour and also a vineyeard tour. 4 vineyards each with 8 or more wines to taste so let just say it was a merry afternoon. Sunday 18th Jan we headed to Kaikoura and the reason for stopping here is to swin with the Dusky Dolphins. We booked in for Tuesday at 5.30am. Early to bed on Monday and up at 4.30am. The weather was bit windy as we walked along to the office and when we arrived we were advised that the skipper was going to make a decision on the trip in 15mins. Tue 6th Jan we left Franz josef and headed down to Queenstown. Lovely breakfast stop by Lake Matheson with views of Mt Tasman.
