Ev picks me up from LAX and I'm already frothen at the mouth... We were going to watch the lakers v bucks at the staple centre!! I was about to watch the Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash in action.. Could barely contain myself.. Me and Ev chatted about my weekend in San Fran and just swapped cool stories. He told me that back in the day Steve Nash used to slay the birds.. Like different model everyweek - I was lapping it up ! We parked and walked down to the arena.. Got there nice and early so we could have a feed and beers. I still don't think to this day I've met a bloke who hammers beers faster than Evan, I was always playing catch up ! Had a little Mexican and headed in... Bought myself a lakers T-shirt (ofcourse) and Was dead set a kid in a candy store . It got better, our seats were amazing, they were directly above the Milwaukee tunnel, not a row of ppl in front of us !! Could of spat on the players as they ran out if I tried ...

Reckon I thanked Evan at least 20 times, still I don't think he has any idea how much that night meant to me.. We brushed the two free tacos and went to Evans choice of Mexican fast food "del taco" after another few beers and about 4 tacos each we were both ready for bed... Laid in bed that night super stoked with how the California chapter kicked off my trip but pumped to see what lied ahead...
