Brief stop over in Charlotte before heading down to charleston in South Carolina to meet my next accomplice mr David Betts...
Betts was on his way back from Atlanta so I just kicked it down town ; found his address and just had a feed and chilled at the sandwich place next door.
Charleston is a super cool little college town that is probably most famous for its girl to guy ratio (6:1 they rekn), so there is always something to look at.
Ended up going for a sick run when the sun went down with a chick you worked at the sandwich shop. She was cool and basically took me on a little tour of down charleston and got to see the marina area too.
Got back and met up with Betts. I'd probably say after out first 12hours together we were best friends ... Reddest guy , super switched , can talk to girls and seems to be pretty business savy for a 25 year old.
After letting the guys (betts and his two good mates Silas and timnah) know it was my birthday we had to head out!
I had a 23rd ten pin bowling birthday party - it was sick!
Next few days consisted of me actually helping betts move into his apartment... Cool let one bedroom set up. We'd play B-ball down the courts most afternoons ; me and betts throwing down on fools (NOOOTTT!!) sometimes got a little heated !
Two best nights were when we got free entry to gigs at music farm. First was yonder- 5 piece blue grass string band : cool s*** ! And the second was 2 fresh and big gigantic both busting out sick trap beats. After the second show we went back to a kids house for a silent disco after party ! WTF!? These kids definetly know how to party!
One of these nights had an awesome dinner of shrimp and grits - very southern style cookery.
Going and checking out the beach and swamp area was cool too , had no idea that towns with this type of landscape actually existed, hard to explain but it's a really bizzare place . Really cool people with cruising as laid back attitude, made the place hard to leave.
After flogging our livers me and betts had a night in and watched Craig's list (best doco to watch when travelling the states).
Wish I could of stayed longer but I had bigger MIAMI fish to fry !
