Welcome to the USA- I made it ! Arriving in LA before I had left in Sydney (weird).. Walking out the front of the international terminal and waiting for Nicole (family friend of one of my clients who I had never even met). After waiting about 10-15 she rolled up in the big silver SUV I chucked my stuff inThe trunk and went to hop in the car when Nicole barks "other side moron- your not in Australia anymore!".. I could tell we were going to get along well.
After a decent drive we arrive at Nicole (and Evans) home in hunting beach Orange County. Bout a mile or so from the beach. Got shown my room, chatted for a little then headed down to check the beach out. Got a deck for my skate board, went and checked out Huntington pier and had a feed a sharkeez 'cheeseburger fries and a couple dos Equis' my first feed in the US. After picking up the kids from school a little later (Steven and Daniella) Nicole took me for a roll at the volcom sk8 park in kostamesa. Sickest set up . Home for dinner, beers with Evan and plenty talk about spots I needed to hit in my time across the states .. Day 1 great introduction to a great country with amazing hospitality from some beautiful people.... Cheers !
