We got the ferry from Phuket to Phi Phi and were happy that the sun was shining on Phi Phi Island. We were looking forward to phi phi because we visited it on our dive trip. We got off the ferry with our massive rucksacks and started the usual routine of Louise staying put with the bags and me hunting the island for cheap accommodation. Its Normally quite effective however this time........not so much!

I thought i had found a really good room with a shared bathroom and it was only 8 pound a night, which was expensive compared to what we have been paying but cheap for Phi Phi! there was only one room left so i payed in advance big Mistake haha ...... when i collected louise and arrived she hated it! and they wouldnt give us our money back worst thing was i paid for two nights haha oops! I have learnt that i should not book a room in advance and next time louise is doing the searching.

Phi phi is really laid back during the day its so chilled out and on the night time it just comes alive! On the second day we changed to a nicer room, one with our own bathroom and this one even had a plug socket. We decided to head to long beach cause we were told that this was the best beach and they werent wrong it was amazing and the snorkelling was brilliant we even saw black tip reef sharks which were about 1m and a half! on the video that ive got of them all you can hear is louise shouting a muffled OH MY GOD through her snorkel about 5 times haha On that night we had a night out on the beach bars around the islands and i painted louise with the neon body paints, she asked for a star... i gave her a splodge....she asked for a sun.... i gave her a splodge.....and she asked for some fine wavey lines and im pretty sure i gave her a splodge haha its harder than it looks!

The night after louise met up with her friend that she made... they met while louise was searching for a new place to stay (so something did come good from my awful decision). We met them just coming back from the beach, they were a couple called Jo and Dan and they were from Bradford and then thre friends walked past so we met another couple called John and Laura so there was now six of us but apparently they had friends so we decided all to meet that night for food and drinks. I had my heart set on a green curry from a particular restarant we ate the previous night so i managed to convince everyone to go there! Result! The other couple were called James and Becky so we had a right crowd going! After the best green curry of my life we headed for the free drinks.........every bar has promotions on for free buckets and shots but promotions are on at different times so the idea is we collect all the flyers and the free drinks decide on our itinerary!

It turned out to be a wild night, and the best part was we spent more money on using the 10 Bhat (20p) toilet than we did on drinks haha but the best part was when we got our free buckets of drink and turned around and saw Ashley and Peter from back home on the same beach, at the same bar, at the same time on the same day! This was a couple from back home that have been travelling but we kept saying we would meet up but we didnt even make any plans we still thought they were in Vietrnam until that night! SURPRISE!!! so we had a good catch up!! and we all just partied together!! Drunk award went to Louise haha she was the free shot queen!!

The morning after.......Oh dear oh dear...them famous words of "im never drinking again" came up a few times!! next couple of days we just chilled out and some of our friends left to go to other places. We decided to rent a private long tail boat with one of the couples one day to visit Maya Bay which is the beach where they filmed "The Beach" I cant put into words how awesome it was, it made long beach look like redcar or roker! haha the water was swimming pool blue!! We also visited monkey bay with lots of monkeys everyone was hand feeding them but louise was scared and was just chucking our bananas haha

On our last night of Phi Phi there was a full moon festival going on and some bars were givin out free BBQ aswel as drinks haha we went out with james and becky and headed to the Reggae Bar which was a cool bar with a massive kick boxing ring and we watched some fighting haha no not thai's the catch is you get a free bucket of drink if you get in the ring so its all the tourists and backpackers that get in the ring haha we even watched two girls fight it out and its not like a fun fight they really go for it!! We then went to meet peter and ashliegh before we left and wait for it..........i tried my first shisha pipe haha No parents its not drugs, but it was cool to try, though i did hate it!! horrible! kept coughing everyone was just laughing at me haha

We spent a total of 5 nights on phi phi island and loved it but it was time to move on to koh Lanta!! Until the next time
