Now hitting the beaches quite a lot.

After getting off the boat at Belem, we headed straight to Sao Luis, then had a stop in Parnaiba-another town not worth noting, except for the lush swimming pool we had at the hotel.

Whilst there we did a tour of the delta of the Panaria River-seeing monkeys, snakes and crabs. We did some walking in the sand dunes and generally had a good time.

Now in Jeri-a hippy beach town-nothing here apart from sea and beach, surfers and bars.

Got very drunk sat night, and was told my my room mate later the next evening that instead of walking back on my own (a usual trick of mine) I made it home, but then decided to go wondering around outside sin clothes-no-one knows where I went (including me-thank god!) but I hope it wasn't far...never drinking rum and cachaça again!
