Yep...it just arrived back from outter space 3 days ago, & is the shuttle with the most space time ever. Pretty impressive looking machine. That was a special trip JD made for us to the Air and Space Museum this morning.

That was after a typical big American hot brekky at an awesome cafe, Cracker Barrel. I had a common American 'biscuits & gravy' which is scones. Me being such a blonde, JD had to show me how to eat it properly. You break up the biscuit aka scone into little bits, then "don't be shy" in pouring the bacon gravy stuff on top. It was ok, bit wierd for brekky but it was nice. A few of the others didn't like it.

We covered some ground today, heading for Virginia. Stopped for a small hike along part of the Appalachian Trail.

A late lunch at Taco Bell, then more driving. We hit our motel around 6 and decided to get pizza delivered - pretty good pizza too, I might add! We set up camp chairs & table in the parking lot, almost like camping out, haha.

We finished up with a typical redneck game of Corn Hole, aptly named as you have to throw a bag of corn into a hole in a wooden ramp type plank. JD carries 2 planks & corn sacks in the van, so I'm sure they will make more appearances. I didn't get any in the hole, actually I was pretty crap at it and barely even got close, haha.

Time for bed. We're in a motel tonight, so big twin double beds. I'm bunked in with Lissy. Sooooo lovely to have a nice big bed and lots of room instead of a cramped dorm with bunks. Ahhhhhh *sigh*
