Charles made us banana and choc chip pancakes for brekky...yum!

We left around 8.30am and had mostly a driving day from Jasper to Banff. We made a few scenic stops, one of which is this photo but it just doesn't do it justice, it was breathtaking! It was funny because Charles gave us brown paper bags to put on out heads for the walk up to the lookout, so that we had a nice surprise when we got there!

We also saw another bear as we drove! He was way off in the distance and we only saw it because of all the cars pulled over and people with cameras.

We grabbed lunch at a small village with sangas from the grocery store.

We checked into our hostel around 4pm, freshened up then caught the bus into town for some dinner and a few drinks.

The boys went to the pub and the girls did a spot of shopping then went to a steakhouse for dinner. We caught the bus back around 10ish. The hostel gives you free bus tickets which is pretty sweet, but it's only a 5 minute ride to town.

All in all, a pretty cruisy day with some sweet Canadian Rockies scenery!
