Back from a good 8 days of backpacking...not sure I would do this for 10 month! I really enjoy finding a great place with good people, and getting to know my way around. Having said that, John and I visited 4 cool places with each their own ups and downs. Belem: a great market but insanely hot. Marajo: cool ferry ride, amazing boeuf but not so friendly people. I am on route to Rio! I left Paracuru for the first time since I arrived in Brazil. Total of 19 days of kiting in 21 days. The 2 days off were necessary body breaks not because the wind was not "au rendez-vous"!
