Dressed to go ridding but almost didn't get a chance to. When I got up it was extreamely foggy and you couldn't see very far so Nikki called to cancel our ride. But when Pippa phoned her back to let her know she got the message the fog had completely lifted and the ride was back on. Nikki came to pick me up and went drove to another farm. I rode a horse named Ryan and he was a very cute, young but well mannered pony. He was very fun to ride and we got to go out on a hack and jump a few jumps and gallop thru a field. Nikki was on a throughbred and let him go a lil bit to show me his speed and poor little Ryan tried to keep up. On the ride Nikki asked if I was going on the 'Hunt' tomorrow. I said I didn't know it was an option and she told me to talk to Pippa because I should come. When I got home I did talk to Pippa and she said I could go and we started to get everything ready. Because I have to dress in all the traditional attire and all tack and horse have to be clean. So we brushed gypsy and cleaned tack.That night was the hunt fund raiser. Pippa and I made pudding for it, got dressed and headed out a little while after uncle sean arrived. The fundraiser was a potluck dinner and horse races after. They had 6 or so horses made of wood and dice got rolled to see which horse would move and how many spaces. You could buy a horse and then bet on horses. Very entertaining. Each race was sponsored by different people and they got to name each horse in their race. But the last race the masters got paired up with someone from the crowd… being from across the world I was picked to go up there. Quite amusing and semi embarrassing. My uncle, who was mistaken for my dad by the auctioneer, bet on me and my partner Rick and got suckered into paying 25 pounds for us haha.
