Got ready to go ridding went and helped with the sheep/lambs. Went on the bike with Tom to one part of the field. Got off to open the gate and was having some trouble, all you had to do was pull it out of its hole to open it but it was stuck… So I pulled harder and the whole thing flew out, Tom and I got a pretty good laugh out of that. We drove in and moved started pushing the sheep to another field. All the lambs got split up and it was a baahing bonanza. After I walked down to the barn and Pippa was getting gypsy ready. I helped finish brushing her and Pippa tacked her up. Once we got my sturrips settled, since my damn legs are so short we had to change the leathers, we walked up to the school. I warmed gypsy up and got her on the bit, while getting used to her and then started jumping! She is way different than Charmer but an amazing jumper. Pippa took a video of me to take home and we walked back. I helped as much as I could with untacking and mucking out and went inside to take a shower before our lunchin. We drove down to a restaurant called the Sea Side Shanty. Very cute little place right next to the sea. Had Fish and Chips, tried tartar sause and wasn't to keen on it, but feel in love with elderflower. We took a break and went to the beach and found rocks for Tom to skip and played a game where you stack rocks sit far back and throw other rocks to nock them down actually pretty entertaining. Went back to the shanty and got some pudding, I had ice cream and shortbread outside in the sun, very pleasant.Tom, Alex and I then got in the car and drove to their grandmothers to meet up for tea for her birthday. On the drive over there talk about oppressed donkeys went on and Tom almost ran over an old man… When we got into their grandmas neighborhood there was an old man mowing his lawn he was backing up, and backing up and just kept backing up into the street. Tom could luckily swerve but just barely cuz there was a car on the other side of the road. The old man never even noticed.Went had tea at his grandmothers house and I was made to try cotted cream… not a big fan I have to say but it wasn't horrible. We had a bizarre carrot cake with pinnapple but it was really good. The pink frosting was the best part cuz it like melted down the cake from the cars heat. From there went to the market with Pippa to get supplies for the dinner that night. Had my first taste of Sherry before dinner. It was ok but not a fav. Dinner was pheasant and it was delicious. Had my new fav drink of elderflower! I was still pretty stuffed from tea but went back for a small plate of seconds. I skipped out on the adult talk and went to watch Brick. An American movie I'd never heard of but enjoyed emensly! I recommend it for sure, some of the lines are cheesy but they're supposed to be. It's a modern day film noir with quite a few familiar faces, its before they're big times I believe. Watched that and pippa joined me at the end of it and then continued to watch some regular tv flippin the channels. Tom came home and we watched Family Guy (haha nick's loving that).
