Woke up somewhat late, did the normal get up routine and started to pack for Devon. Before I finished we decided to go get my train ticket. Drove past Winchester Castle, the flag was flying high meaning the Queen was in. She was meeting the president of France the next day and the streets were lined with French and English flags. Drove around forever attempting to find a parking spot, no luck. So Uncle Sean let me out and I had to find the train station on my own. I American style (hastily and fast) walked thru crowds of ppl to try and find the train station, found it with only a little difficulty. Got my ticket and made it back to the car before my uncle had found a spot.Drove back to Chertsey and finished packing for Devon, realized that was the reason my bag was so heavy! All my ridding stuff and clothes I brought for the ranch!Went into Weybridge for Easter dinner with Fiona, John (her father), Lucy (her daughter), and James aka Mair (Lucy's bf), and my uncle. Had a good English style 7 layer bean dip. Between four of us we ate it all while waiting for Lucy to pick up Mair. We had lamb, potatoes, green beans, carrots and parsnips. Tried parsnips w/e they're called and have to say I didn't enjoy them. The rest of the meal was delicious tho! For pudding we had cheesecake with cream. Yum!We all migrated to the couch for a lazy conversation of this or that. John departed and for Easter gave me a Huge Toblerone with Christmas décor on it. We all decided to watch X-men I and continue our lazy Sunday on a Monday. When X-men was over we started getting ready to go out on my first pub adventure! We actually went to a 21 and over pub but no one carded us so it didn't matter. Lucy had sent out a facebook invite to her friends saying come show my American friend how its done in England… so her friends came and showed me how its done! Haha It was a very different atmosphere but I feel in love with it. I exchanged NorCal words for some English ones. Learned a new party trick, got hit on by the cute bartender Ben, saw Ravenswood wine in England was gonna by a glass just cuz but it was by the bottle and like the equivalent of $50-60, UHHH I'LL PASS SEEING THAT I CAN WALK TO RAVENSWOOD AT HOME! Played a game of pool and drank a pint of Guinness. Went home pleasantly pissed but pleased with the whole experience!! When Lucy and I arrived at her house there was a light layer of snow on the cars, took a pic with it. Once inside had the universal hangover prevention of toast and water (yeah Alicia they do it too! I laughed since we just talked about that before I left ha!) Lucy and I stayed up for a lil longer talking and bs-ing. By the end of it around 1 or 2 (I think, it was late that's all I remember) we were both quite knackered so we parted and went to sleep.
