Transylvania. Dracula country. The obvious choice of campsites was Vampire Camping (not that we actually had a choice!) Our first encounter with Dracula! We have come to the birth place of Vlad Tempes who apparently is the inspiration behind Bram Stokers 'Dracula'. Very spooky. The town is ancient which really does add atmosphere to it's story. It's streets are very narrow and cobbled and the houses have the remnants of colourful paint work.
