Spent most of the time in Split trying to get information on ferry times out of a number of Jadrolinija representatives, as they ranged from arrogant to apathetic to wonderfully helpful it was slightly frustrating.

As we were sitting on the sea front musing over our options a man who looked straight out of Minder and who was clipping his nails said 'you're late!' errm, bit odd. He then went on to predict the weather for the next couple of days (with incredible precision it turns out!). We think he meant we were late in the year but I prefer to think we are just really early. Still a very strange encounter.

Loved the tiny little streets of Split and managed to find an English book store; just in time as I have finished my last one. Dave had some more pizza so he was happy!
