After Luang Probang we headed for Vang Vieng to go tubing. Basically you hire a big rubber ring and then get dropped about 3 km up river of the town and just sit in you ring while the river takes you back to town, stopping at the bars on the way down. In dry season it is mean to take about 4 hours, which is why we cant understand why when we left at 10am we didnt get back to town until about 7pm??
