Tonight we had the Aegean Sea social. Each deck or floor of the ship is considered a sea based on who their RD is. I have all of the second, which is the smallest. We are called the Aegean Sea. Throughout the voyage, each sea gets to have a sea social in the faculty and staff lounge. The lounge is in the front of the ship with beautiful views of the ocean. It also has a greater alcohol selection, though students were limited to beer and wine just like on pub night.

Since we are the Aegean Sea I wanted ours to have a Greek Gods and Goddesses theme but I knew this would lead to togas. I asked our Assistant Executive Dean if the ship would allow us to use our sheets if we promised not to cut them or mark them in anyway. The ship actually produced 50 sheets for us to use. The students had a great time dancing the night away. Only one student, who incidently was not from the Aegean Sea, came with a bit too much showing. I asked her to cover up if she wanted to stay. She'd actually been on our safari so I was a bit surprised she was showing so much. She quickly went downstairs and put her bikini top on.

The students seemed to enjoy themselves. I really have a great group of residents. I think the guys on my floor are always the first ones out on the dance floor any time. I'm glad they had fun and that Noah played along--dancing with me and wearing a toga.
