It was close by the ship at Tous au Biches, which we of course called trow the b****es. We got to the bus station and got on the bus. It cost us 38 rupees for 2 oneway tickets. Posted by Amanda So far I'm not loving Port Louis in Mauritius. We docked and had our diplomatic briefing. I have not been well the last few days so we both went back to bed for awhile. We ate fried chicken on the ship for lunch then headed out. Of course it is crazy hot so that is less fun. We are docked at a real dock--nothing nice about it, just big, ugly ships all around and it isn't safe at night. We have to take a taxi or a water taxi from the ship ...

Posted by Amanda Tonight we had the Aegean Sea social. Each deck or floor of the ship is considered a sea based on who their RD is. I have all of the second, which is the smallest. We are called the Aegean Sea. Throughout the voyage, each sea gets to have a sea social in the faculty and staff lounge. The lounge is in the front of the ship with beautiful views of the ocean.
