Arrived in Buenos Aires knackered after another night bus. The taxi prices were well over the top so tired as we were the metro was easy to work out. We arrived at Mendoza feeling tired like usual after a night on the bus. The only flier we were handed was for a homestay so not convinced as they haven´t been our best experiences in the past. Arrived in Cafayate in the evening found cheap hostel and went out to find dinner. Had some cheap wine and good food at Baco. Also booked bikes for the next day to see the Quebrada de Cafayate (rock formations in the desert). Up early in the morning for our bike ride no hot water. The night bus was the strangest yet. We arrived at the Argentina boarder at 3.30am and everyone seemed to appear from no where to open all the shops and people from immigration turned up. This part was quick and simple but we then had to sit on the bus untill 7.00am untill the boarder opened into Argentina.
