Another night with campers talking until the wee hours. I slept and Gretchen was kept awake until 2am. Too bad, this was a great camping place with free wifi, a place to charge everything and someplace to sit. We rode out at 7 for Vienna. Todays ride was by the river with few towns. We covered the 88k to Vienna by 1300 and that was with two stops. We crossed a bridge to an island upon reaching Vienna and ran into a whole bunch of nudists. What a shock! Fortunate...

It started out cloudy and cool and we hopped for a break in the hot weather. Ybbs was 25k out and we were shooting for a coffee break there. There was a great bakery and we ended up spending a while there. There is a lot of tour boats on the Danube in this area. The only thing we can figure out is there are a lot of castles and vineyards. It's always a chance in a park on a weekend. The neighbors on both sides partied until 2:30. The wind/thunder storm slowed them down not at all.

Our first day in Austria was in a Gorge following the Danube from Passau to Weidet. We stayed on the north shore and had to take to ferries because the trail stopped. These ferries are specifically for bicycles. About 10k before Weidet we popped out of the gorge into farm land. Our campground is mainly for the swimming lakes near by.
