so... mt maunganui was really lovely but it is a holiday place for the rich folk of auckland, therefore pretty dead this time of year. Meant i got the beach all to myself at 6am which was amazing. carried on to Auckland. It is a fast paced city, full of japanese. Quite dirty. Prostitution is legal and you really see that in auckland! but on the whole, an ok city. still don't have much time for city's though, going to go white water rafting tomorrow so looking forward to that
