Hi. Having spent the night in the luxurious pad of my flight instructor (worth 500000 but he only rents it!!) we got up earlyish and made our way to the airport. It was a beautiful sunny morning and the wind was straight up the runway so it was all systems go for a flight in a Piper Arrow. Trev and Keith decided to stay on terra firma so off we went to explore the countryside by air. What a sensation. Miles and miles of green countryside rivers hills and unrestricted airspace made the flight a delight. In to land and a couple of circuits of the airfield and we were done. Breathtakingly exhilarating is the only words. A quick cup of coffee and it was ourevoir to our hosts and on to our next destination. We picked a place near Tours and it has turned out to be a minter. A few beers in the local town square and a pizza washed done with local red wine and we are bushed. Must be the late night in Limoges!!!
